I own this arcade machine. I can tell you it is very accurate to the original. I purchased this port on Xbox in 2018. I have always been able to use the multiplayer function. So I have no idea why others were having problems but I assume it was user error. Just make sure Player 2 is signed in and the controller is on before you launch the game from the home screen. As far as the reported 'Lag' that people are saying is in the game???... I have seen no input lag on any pads or arcade sticks I have used. MS3 is 100% playable. Unless these people are referring to the small bit off slowdown in the game? This port is so authentic that it even emulates the slowdown seen in the arcade original. That is not lag guys.... It is how the original arcade machine behaved. That is authentic gameplay. So I would take all these reports of 'Lag' with a grain of salt. All in all this emulated port of Metal Slug 3 plays great and is worth the money. Grab a buddy and sit down and play some Metal Slug 3!
