Description: Truly a beautiful, unique vintage guitar. This guitar is a rare, unplayed, limited edition Gibson Les Paul 1960 Tuxedo Corvette. Please see detailed photographs. The guitar has a 'Vin #' instead of a 'Serial Number' and is one of only 200 made. I purchased the guitar about 3-4 years back from the original collector. (Note: Any dates on photos are not correct. I don't know how to set a date on the camera so the date is random. Apologies.) Certificate was lost by original collector who had it for nearly 17 years. It has spent its life in its case. Guitar and hardware are pristine in all original custom made condition. It comes with original black leather case with crushed black velvet interior and the Corvette emblem on the outside.
The maple top is hand carved to simulate the famous side scoop of the 1960 Corvette (see corvette pic). The back cover plates and truss rod cover are engraved chrome plated brass (see pics) and the pickup covers are engraved with '283' and 'fuel injection' in the original script. Ebony fretboard inlaid with a gorgeous pearl 'Corvette' logo script from 1960 Corvette line. The headstock is inlaid with the Chevrolet Corvette crossed flags and these flags are also on the matching collectible case with crushed black velvet interior included here. They were made in a select few colors approved by GM and the black Tuxedo models are one of the most coveted. With only 200 of these in worldwide circulation you will rarely find one like this at this price.

  • Item Details. A Les Paul Guitar. This piece is a 2003 Gibson Les Paul Double-Cutaway Corvette 50th Anniversary model. Serial number is VIN E03N014. This guitar features a mahogany body with metallic red finish, carved top to mimic Corvette side vent and a string-thru body.
