Baldi's Basics in Nightmares 1.5 is a point-and-click survival horror video game developed by Rjac25. The game is a sequel to Baldi's Basics in Nightmares, and again, based on an indie horror game called Baldi's Basics, and has used the concept of Nightmare Animatronics from Five Nights at Freddy's 4.
The game is going to be released on Halloween 2018.
Description
After the events of BBiN, you are now situated back at home, left with one last challenge/task to complete! To unlock Polter Baldi and eradicate him for good. However, that won't be easy!
Overview
Experience a new nightmare with your friendly nightmare friends all over again, with different mechanics and more spoops! The nightmare versions of Baldi's crew welcome you with open arms!
Coming (hopefully) on Halloween (not a 100% definitive release date - depends on progress).
Gameplay
The player is placed in a bedroom. The player must survive until 6 AM while defending against multiple animatronics. The animatronics consist of the following:
- Nightmare Baldi: Baldi appears at the end of the bed or under the bed. Use your flashlight to scare him away.
- Nightmare Playtime: Playtime stays outside the door. The player must check the door from your bed to listen for her music. If you hear it, exit your bed and knock on the door multiple times.
- Nightmare Principal: Principal will sometimes appear in a blue closet. Open the closet to check on it. If he is there, close the door and wait for 3 seconds before leaving.
- Nightmare Bully: Bully may appear at the window at random. If you see him, make sure to activate your audio player which scares him away by pressing E.
Development
On October 26th 2018, Rjac25 announced a continuation of Baldi's Basics in Nightmares, titled Baldi's Basics in Nightmares 1.5. He stated that this is for Halloween 2018, but it might not be released on time. Just like what he said, he didn't get to release a demo on Halloween. However, the demo contained 3 nights was released on November 7th. On November 20th, he decided to cancel the game due to the lack of motivation and he was still not skilled in coding.
